Gibson Steps – Great Ocean Road
The Gibson Steps are an area of cliffs on the Great Ocean Road.
The cliffs are the first sightseeing stop off in Port Campbell National Park for travelers heading West along the Great Ocean Road. The Gibson Steps are located about 2 minutes drive before The Twelve Apostle. The name Gibson Steps refers to the staircase leading down to the stretch of beach.
There is a viewing platform only 20 metres from the carpark which provides a great overview along the coast. From the viewing plattform 86 step are leading down to the beach. Great views are provided from the sandy beach too.
